To ensure you can join us in Mexico, please begin the process of obtaining or renewing your passport as soon as possible. Processing times can vary, and we want everyone to have ample time to get everything in order.

Passport Application
Complete the necessary paperwork ahead of time. Access the passport application here.

Get a Passport Photo

You’ll need an official passport photo. We recommend getting this done at Walgreens or CVS before your appointment to save time in case the post office is busy.

Apply In Person at a Passport-Processing Post Office

Applying in person is recommended to avoid delays and uncertain processing times with online applications. Only select post offices handle passport processing. We suggest the Lubbock Downtown Post Office across from Buddy Holly Hall for convenience.

Driver’s License Ensure your driver’s license is up-to-date, with a current mailing/billing address that matches. Most renewals can be done online, but you may need to visit the office if updates are required. Renew or update your Texas Driver’s License here.

Birth Certificate
A certified copy of your birth certificate is required. Request your birth certificate here.

Social Security Card
Make sure you have your Social Security Card on hand. Learn more here if you need to request a replacement.
